At L.I.N.K. Empowerment Ministry, we believe every person deserves dignity, stability, and hope — regardless of their circumstances. Our assistance programs are designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them on the journey toward stability.

What We Provide
We offer a range of support services to address the most pressing needs facing individuals and families in our community.
Emergency shelter referrals, transitional housing placement, and support navigating permanent housing options for individuals and families in crisis.
Access to food pantry resources, hygiene supplies, clothing, and other daily essentials distributed through our Community Empowerment Hubs and Mobile Resource Unit.
Financial support to help cover overdue rent, utility bills, and other housing-related costs that prevent eviction and loss of essential services.
Faith-based counseling, mental health support referrals, and one-on-one guidance from trained case managers who walk alongside you every step of the way.
Job readiness training, resume assistance, interview coaching, and connections to local employment opportunities to help you achieve financial independence.
Personalized support from a dedicated case manager who helps you develop a stability plan, connect with resources, and navigate the systems that can help you thrive.
Who We Serve
L.I.N.K. serves individuals and families across South Carolina who are facing hardship. You may qualify if any of the following apply to you.
You are currently unhoused, staying in a shelter, or at immediate risk of losing your housing.
Families with minor children in crisis situations receive priority consideration for our housing and basic needs programs.
You are experiencing financial hardship and unable to meet basic needs such as food, utilities, or rent without support.
Individuals fleeing unsafe or abusive home situations are eligible for emergency housing referrals and wraparound support services.
We serve veterans experiencing homelessness or financial hardship and can connect them with VA resources and community support programs.
If you are experiencing a personal crisis and are unsure where to turn, reach out to us. We will connect you with the right resources and support.
The Process

A LINK case manager reviews your submission and contacts you within 1–2 business days to discuss your needs.
We schedule a confidential intake appointment — in person or by phone — to assess your situation and available options.
Together, we develop a personalized stabilization plan that connects you with the right programs and community resources.
We walk alongside you — checking in regularly, adjusting your plan as needed, and celebrating every step forward.
