Projects
L.I.N.K. already delivers food distribution, counseling, encouragement, resource referrals, and family support through our existing outreach programs and community partnerships. What we are fundraising for is the dedicated mobile unit — a fully equipped vehicle that will take these services directly into underserved neighborhoods at far greater reach and frequency. Our CABS Survey is identifying the communities and families we will prioritize. Your donation helps get this unit on the road.
Our Vision — Unit Coming Soon
L.I.N.K. already serves food, provides counseling, distributes essentials, and connects families to resources through our outreach programs and partner relationships. Now we are raising funds to take that work further — with a dedicated, fully equipped mobile unit that drives directly into underserved neighborhoods, remote communities, and areas with limited access to services.
Inspired by Dr. Moore’s philosophy of “meeting people where they are,” the LINK Mobile Resource Unit will break down geographic, physical, and social barriers so that no one is left behind simply because of where they live. The services are ready — we just need the vehicle to carry them there.
Help Fund This UnitServices We Deliver Today
We distribute non-perishable food items, hygiene products, clothing, and essential household supplies to community members in need — and the mobile unit will let us reach far more families, right where they live.
Our staff and volunteers help individuals connect with local services, benefits enrollment, housing resources, healthcare, and more — and the mobile unit will bring this navigation directly to people’s doorsteps.
Compassionate support and encouragement for those in crisis is at the heart of everything we do — and the mobile unit will carry that spirit directly into the neighborhoods that need it most.
We assist individuals in enrolling in L.I.N.K.’s programs, including housing assistance, training, and volunteer opportunities — and the mobile unit will offer on-the-spot enrollment in the field.
We provide wellness information and referrals to local healthcare providers and community health resources — services the mobile unit will deliver directly at each community stop.
We support children and families through age-appropriate activities, school supplies, and family-focused resources — which the mobile unit will bring directly to families in underserved communities.
